We handle the transfer of your luggage between stops. Each bag must not exceed 20 kg (15 kg on the Chemin du Puy) and must fit within 70 × 50 × 38 cm. Bags exceeding these limits cannot be transferred, and you will need to manage them yourself. Please leave your bag at the hotel reception by 8 am, as this allows us to collect it on time. Your Camino Mountain Bike: What You Need to Know:

  • Included in Your Camino Package: Your mountain bike rental includes a helmet, two waterproof pannier bags (20L each), and a repair kit.
  • Built for Camino Terrain: Your mountain bike is designed to handle a variety of surfaces, including gravel tracks, country paths, mountain sections, and quiet roads.
  • Bike Size and Fit: Providing your exact height when booking is essential so we can prepare the correct bike size for you. A comfortable fit will make a significant difference over multiple days of cycling.
  • Carrying Your Gear: The included panniers provide up to 40L of waterproof storage, giving you plenty of space for your daily essentials. Lights, phone holders, and other accessories are not included.
  • Children's Bikes: Available for children from approximately 7 years of age. Please note that helmets and reflective clothing are mandatory for children are not included and must be supplied by parents.
  • Ready to Ride: Your bike will be delivered ready for use. Before setting off, make sure the saddle and handlebars are adjusted to your comfort.
  • Daily Maintenance: Carry out basic checks each day and keep the bike reasonably clean throughout your journey. A repair kit is included for minor repairs and punctures.
  • 24/7 Support: Assistance is available around the clock during your trip. If a problem cannot be fixed on the road, support can be arranged to help you reach a local repair service.
  • Share the Trail: Many Camino routes are shared with walkers and other pilgrims. Ride responsibly, slow down when approaching others, and give way when necessary.
  • Safety First: Helmets are strongly recommended at all times and may be legally required in non-urban areas. Always follow local traffic regulations and ride according to the conditions.
  • Looking After Your Bike: You are responsible for the bike and all included equipment during the rental period. Charges may apply for loss, theft, damage, missing items, or late returns.
  • Come Prepared: Cycling the Camino is a rewarding experience, but it remains a physical challenge. A reasonable level of fitness and some cycling experience are recommended.

Your E-Bike for the Camino: What You Need to Know

  • Included in Your Camino Package: E-bikes are available exclusively as part of a Camino tour package and cannot be rented separately. E-bikes are exclusively available for individuals who are 161 cm (5'28'') or taller.
  • Pedal Assist, Not a Scooter: The motor provides assistance only while you pedal. You will still need to cycle, but with significantly less strain, especially on climbs and longer stages.
  • Height Requirements: E-bikes are suitable for cyclists between 1.47m and 2m tall. Different frame sizes are available. Please provide your accurate height when booking. If you are close to either limit, we recommend trying a similar-sized bike locally beforehand.
  • Minimum Rental Period: The minimum rental period is 5 days. For Camino de Santiago routes, e-bikes are only available on itineraries that finish in Santiago de Compostela, where the bike must be returned to the designated bike shop.
  • Battery Range and Charging: The battery can last up to 130 km in Eco mode, although the actual range will vary depending on terrain, rider weight, weather conditions, and assistance level. To ensure maximum performance, charge the battery fully each night. If the battery runs out during the day, you can continue cycling without assistance; however, please note that e-bikes weigh approximately 25 kg and can be more challenging to pedal without power.
  • Assembly and Adjustments: Your e-bike will arrive almost fully assembled. You will only need to attach the pedals and make minor adjustments to the saddle and handlebars. All necessary tools and instructions are included.
  • Helmet and Panniers Included: Your rental includes: Helmet, Two waterproof pannier bags (20L each), repair kit.  If you prefer to use your own helmet, simply let us know before your trip.
  • Cycling Experience Recommended: E-bikes are easy to use, but some basic cycling experience is recommended. If you have never ridden an e-bike before, we suggest trying one before your Camino.
  • 24/7 Support: A dedicated 24/7 assistance number will be available throughout your trip. If required, emergency support includes arranging transport to a local repair shop.

E-bikes offer the perfect balance of freedom, comfort, and support, making your Camino both enjoyable and rewarding. With a little planning, regular overnight charging, and consideration for fellow pilgrims along the way, you'll be ready to make the most of your journey.
